Pallavi Padukone is a New York-based textile designer and artist. Her work is guided by culture and craft, taking inspiration from nature and her surrounding landscape for color, patterns, and materials. She believes in the philosophy of respecting the artisanal, the sustainable, and the slow. She experiments with embroidery, weaving, and print and loves to innovate with materials and experience, and document traditional craft practices.
